Emerige Revelations Grant Awardee: Dora Jeridi
Dora Jeridi was born in 1998 in Paris, where she still lives and works. After completing her Master's Degree in Contemporary History (Paris, 2012), this year's prize winner went on to train at the Beaux-Arts de Paris. Most recent exhibitions include; Experience (2021) Art at the Center (2021) and CRUSH (2020).

The creatives practice is intense, energetic, and expressive. Showing a strong desire for the material and an avid, sometimes voracious, relationship to painting.  By representing situations where enigmatic narrativity often appears, for the artist, it is a matter of showing a state of crisis that cannot be spoken, a world that is silent, although eager for expression. At times dreamlike, occasionally nightmarish, and sometimes violent, Jeridi's work bears witness to an irreducible tension between chaotic outbursts and the quest for grace.
